Vernon DePauw
Vernon DePauw grew up on a farm in Illinois where his father taught him the pride of working with his hands and his grandfather (who made wooden shoes in Belgium during World War 1) passed on his talent of working with wood. He is primarily self-taught and has been carving for over 30 years and received many awards within the international carving community.
